Day in the life of - Animals, outfit, Sintra and books!

Hey dearies,

So the other day, I decided it would be really fun to take some pictures of the stuff I get around to, during the day, and post them here to show you guys. I only took pictures of the more interesting and nice bits, but it was a really fun day! I was all by myself, but went around doing different stuff and was really tired by the end of it. Come with me and check it out!

I started the morning cosy, as it was really hugely cold when I got out of bed. So I made myself a cup of chocolate tea (yums) and drank it while I checked my emails on the computer!

This is my cat, Junior! He is a "Noruguês dos bosques", I don't know the name of the breed in english, but he is huge and fluffy, and has a moustache, as you can see!

Look at his moustache! He looks like eça de queiroz, ahah

Time to show you some more pupz, this is my pipoca. Half chihuahua, half yorkie

And Freddie, my macho latino chihuahua! <3

My outfit! I love those converse sneakers! I bought them half price at an outlet, and the camouflage has skulls worked into the pattern! Btw, I LOVEEEEEE my batman sweater!

Now, as you creatures of the night now, 2013 is the year of the bat. So I knew there was this bat exhibition in Sintra, with loads of bat pictures drawn by kids and stuff. I had to go and check it out!

Some of the bat species that roam in Portugal! :D

Afterwards, there was another exhibition about Roman remains in Sintra, and I decided to check it out. I only took pictures of a coolass human skeleton, but I watched like an hour long video of all the roman remains and ruins present around Sintra. There's loads of stuff and it was so interesting and amazing!

I then proceeded to go to some shops, and have a wander around my beautiful village. I´m sure you're all gonna turn green of envy, cause this is where I live <3

Isn't it absolutely breathtaking? It looks like it's part of fairytale!

Afterwards, I went to a expensive ass charity shop (where I only got a book) and to the library. The xmas decorations are out, and it looks so lovely! I especially liked the yummi christmas tree!

And inside, they had a xmas tree made from books! Aww!

These are the books I bought & borrowed from the library!

Lastly, I have a surprise... Sneak peek preview of my new hair colour :D

Cherrylicious!

Hope you like wandering around with me <3 See you soon!

Bits and bobs

This is a lazy post, where I kinda just show you random bits and pieces of my life lately (which hasn't been that exciting at all :P). Come and have a wander!

This blog needs more pictures of my dogs!!

Such a clean and tidy desk, ain't?

SHE WEARING A SWEATER, AWWW! She's a tiny tiny chihuahua, and she gets really cold, so we had to buy her something to keep her warm and make her gay-er. We have a strict only gay dogs policy in this house, so we have 2 chihuahuas, 2 yorkies and a Yorchi! ahaha

My staple cats shoes

Cosy lay in, on facebook and youtube

Sunset in Bairro Alto

Late afternoon in Feira da Ladra (amazing Lisbon flea market)

My german class notebook, decorated with stickers from 2 days eating bolicaos with Marco! (I think I had about 5, and he had about 15! lol)

And another german class! This time we decided to make it in proper style, and totally occupied one of my University rooms!

Boring life, sed life!

Over and outttttttttt!

Deadly oufit 8 - A dog and a German class

Hey my lovelies!

Yesterday was a rather nice day (a day for a glorious weeeeedding - ahaha this song IMMEDIATELY popped to my head!! Corpse bride gallore!). I woke up late, barely had time to get dressed and put makeup on (only did my eyes) and headed to the yee old capital, to have my very first german class at the cinemateca (told you i was mad about that place!). My father gave me a ride, since he was going to the hospital, and while he went to his appointment, I stayed in the car and pestered one of my dogs with pictures (Did I ever tell you about my personal zoo? Five dogs, one cat, a fish, a turtle, and seven birds, lol) as follows:

He doesn't seem too pleased about it

But I pet him and suddently he's all happy again:P

Preshy preshy, as bunny would say!

Then, it was time to head out for class, lol. I met with some friends, one of whom was to be the professor and we started the shenanigans. It was actually really helpful, and I learnt a great deal of useful stuff in just one class! I´m looking forward for the next one!

Did I tell you I´m about to head out for austria for 6 months? Yours truly has earnt a scholarship to intern in the filmarchiv Austria ( weee) and I´m moving there on January (so expect lots of confused portuguese girl in Vienna posts, starting in January!)

And now for the outfit itself:

My face, nothing fancy. No foundation or anything, I only did my eyes and dabbed a bit of lipgloss on my lips!

Horrible face, so you get a nice little bat instead ;)
Coat on (that coat has lived with me for 11 years, I bought it when I was 15 for my uncle's wedding. IT STILL LIVES AND IS A FAITHFUL COMPANION!)

Coat off (can you tell I love my hearts knit jumper?)

Hat - Thrifted for, listen carefully, 35 CENTS! (It was 3 for one euro on hats!)
Jumper - Bought online, originally from Zara
Petticoat - Tally wally or wtv that fucking shop is called
Necklace - Street Market on Algarve
Boots - Second hand shop for two euros

(So happy with my thrifty buys, I shall haul them here soon!)

Over and out :D
